Accessibility Statement

Willamette Education Service District is committed to making the Grow Your Own program website (becomeanoregoneducator.com) accessible to individuals with disabilities by meeting or exceeding the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Title II of the ADA is a federal law that requires public agencies to provide individuals with disabilities equal access to electronic information and data comparable to that provided to individuals without disabilities. WCAG 2.1 Level AA sets the technical criteria for measuring conformance with these guidelines.

Accessibility was included in the scope of the website project alongside content and design. Every page was built and reviewed to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA before publication.

How the site was evaluated

Prior to launch, all five pages of the website were evaluated on the live published site using two independent, industry-standard accessibility tools, the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool (WebAIM) and accessiBe accessScan, supplemented by manual review of every flagged item.

Availability and maintenance

The website is live and maintained through March 15, 2028. After this date, the site will no longer be maintained.

The site is not under active accessibility monitoring. The results above reflect the independent evaluation completed on June 11, 2026. Complete, unmodified audit records for each page are preserved and available on request.
